Response:	The Operator’s response to AAIASB Safety Recommendation (SR) 2021-17 was received by email on 09/11/2021 and received incoming document number: 2535/10-11-2021. [Operator’s response to AAIASB SR 2021-17]: “Following your letter (AAIASB/2522/8-11-21) we confirm the reception. In addition, regarding the [safety] recommendations, SAFETY NOTICE has already been issued with instructions for the implementation of the second [safety] recommendation (2021-18) by the [flight] crews [AAIASB requested and received the mentioned SAFETY NOTICE on 23/2/2022 - Attached documents are not made publicly available by AAIASB]. For the first recommendation (2021-17) the safety department (Safety) of our company monitors at regular intervals the accidents, incidents, incidents concerning the types that our company has (METRO SA 227 & EMB 120) via internet.” [AAIASB assessed this response as “Adequate” on 17/3/2022 (Board meeting) and changed the SR 2021-17 status to “Closed”]
