E01/2014 Light Airplane OE-KAI Happened: 21/10/2011 AAIASB Summary: On 21/10/2011 at about 10:50 local time, the DA 40D light airplane Registered as OE-KAI, performed an instructors training flight for familiarization in short and soft runway landings. During landing on the "DIMITRA" landing field of Kopaida area the aircraft faced deceleration difficulty due to wheel skidding. A failed attempt to abort landing and go-around followed but the aircraft gained some marginal lift conditions at the end of the runway and lost the lift as it came in contact with maize plantation after the end of the runway and resulted on ground having been damaged. - Safety Recommendations
